Maranatha has taken the professional qualification approach in compiling the content of the Bsc (Hons) Accounting in order for our graduates to become members of accounting professional bodies as well as to be fully marketable and employable in Zimbabwe and internationally. Therefore at Maranatha Christian University the curriculum supports the vision of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe and this programme will assist to bridging the gap in the labour market.

Certificate in Accounting
Most certificate programmes at Maranatha have no special entry requirements, however applicants may be required to attend an interview or take a test to ascertain English and arithmetic skills for assurance of ability to study at this level. Specific programmes may have additional entry requirements.
Diploma in Accounting
Applicants are expected to have written the Ordinary level or other equivalent examination with a minimum of five subjects with a pass in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects. Specific programmes may have additional entry requirements.
Bachelors Degree
Applicants are expected to have completed primary and secondary schooling with a minimum of five subjects passed including Mathematics and English. The typical entry requirement is Ordinary level or other equivalent secondary school leaving qualifications. Specific programmes may have additional entry requirements.
